An introduction to the 76th Ivey Abitz bespoke clothing collection.
Our 76th collection of limited edition bespoke garments is a nod to designers Mary and Russel Wright. Together as husband and wife, they designed pottery and casual everyday china in the 1940’s. It was meant to give people an individual look by mixing and matching different hues within a collection of tableware. Every meal could look different, just by combining the various palettes.
Decades later, we connect with their design philosophy — proof that authenticity is always relevant and in style. Since our first collection in 2006, Ivey Abitz has celebrated individuality and given the wearer many options within their wardrobe.
The Ivey Abitz main studio is near Russel Wright’s home and studio in the Hudson Highlands of New York. It is a special coincidence as we didn’t even know about it until after we moved here. Perhaps artists with similar callings are drawn to this area to create? The home and studio, now a museum, is called Manitoga, which means “place of great spirit.” It was built into rock overlooking a waterfall and pond with the Hudson River in the distance. This 76th collection of Ivey Abitz bespoke clothing is inspired by both the Wright pottery and the one-of-kind studio setting at Manitoga.
The 76th look book is a celebration of bold hues and infinite ensemble possibilities. We feature 76 ensembles to represent this, our 76th collection. You can mix and match for years to come with this visually striking and pleasantly casual new collection. May you always celebrate everyday life through meaningful design. We believe to our core that good design brings joy to each and every day.
